Visions of you

Irene shares poetry about missing someone regardless of conflicts.

It’s a pain how much I wish to never see you again.

From my bruised heart to the soreness in my heels from running after you,

The aches fuels a faster stride, a hidden face, & new panic.

Avoiding the moment when our eyes may ever meet again,

Because all I can see is your happiness without me.

While I’m still here.

But if I don’t ever see you again,

I bitterly remember your face:

The intensity of your smile, the softness of your eyes, the peace in the wrinkles in your forehead.

Waiting for the chance to see you again,

Because even in all this hurt you’ve left me,

I still miss you.
