Where My Poetry Hides

Archana, a middle schooler, loves to write and start sharpening her writer's brain from a young age.

In 2008, I was brought into this world,

In the summer, I lived in the sun,

In the Indian clothing that represents my culture,

In the mesmerizing brown eyes of my loyal dog,

In my dance that has a joyful soul,

In my art that breathes happiness,

In the spirit of singing, I feel free,

In my art that breathes happiness"

In the bustling places that open your heart,

In the heart, when things shatter it still lives,

In the hope that encourages me not to give up,

This is where my poetry hides.
